We appeal to all subscribers to please ensure to have your renewals in before that date.Community SportsThe local Community sports was postponed last Sunday due to the unseasonable weather. It is rescheduled for Friday, June 10 at 6pm.Under 12 League Phase 1 Group CKilbeggan/St. Josephs Under 12 panel headed off to Kinnegad last Wednesday to play in the league. There were two nine a side games on offer and plenty for the away supporters to cheer. In the first game Kilbeggan/St. Joseph's dominated from start to finish and won comfortably with some outstanding scoretaking, and mean defending that resulted in only two points being conceded. The second game was a classic game of two halves. Coralstown/Kinnegad registered some early goals in the first half that seemed to unsettle the Kilbeggan/St. Joseph's team.The second half was a different game with a much improved work rate from Kilbeggan/St. Joseph's that resulted in excellent scores being taken. The aggregate score after the two games resulted in an excellent win for the away side - Kilbeggan/St. Josephs 9-18 Coralstown/Kinnegad 7-4.Attention now turns to the next game in the league against Ballynacargy in Streamstown on Wednesday, June 8 at 7pm, where the team will be hoping to extend their winning sequence.Team 1: Rory O'Neill, Jordan Lynam, Patrick Claffey, Martin Ward, Ross Elliffe, Stephen Carroll,  Kaylin Murtagh, Stephen Daly, Dylan Hawe, Jamie StoneTeam 2: Diarmuid Egan, Daniel Daly, Ryan Coughlan, Eoin McCormack, Gearoid Farrell, Brian Keegan, Niall Carey, Ryan O'Neill, Eoin Kelly. Adam Stone.Under 10 North Westmeath LeagueKilbeggan/St. Josephs Undedr 10s travelled once again in strong numbers to Ballinagore to play St. Malachy's/Ballinagore on Tuesday, May 24. This was the third series of games in the North Westmeath league.  The players put in yet another strong performance. Once again the Kilbeggan/St. Josephs players showed some excellent skills throughout the game culminating in some magnificent scores. The coaching every Friday evening continues to be effective.
