Westmeath have a chance to make it third time lucky against Louth this year, after drawing the Wee County in the opening round of All-Ireland SFC Qualifiers on Sunday night.
After losing to them in both the league and the Leinster championship, Pat Flanagan's charges will be out to prove a point, when the sides meet on Saturday June 30.
Westmeath will enjoy home advantage for the tie, having played an away fixture in last year's first round.
