Throw in brought forward for Shamrocks match

Mullingar Shamrocks go into battle against Ballymun Kickhams this Sunday.

The throw in for Sunday's eagerly anticipated Leinster club championship tie between Mullingar Shamrocks and Ballymun Kickhams in Cusack Park has been brought forward by half an hour to 2pm.

According to the Westmeath County Board, the start time was changed at the request of Shamrocks.

Speaking to the Westmeath Examiner this week, Shamrocks' manager Ray Smyth was confident that his men could overcome the challenge of the highly rated Dublin outfit.

"There are no injuries to report and everyone is in good shape. The mood in the camp is very upbeat, the lads are feeling very positive and there's a great buzz around the place," he said.
