Boost for St Lomans as Ken Casey signs up

Crowned Westmeath senior football champions for the first time in 50 years last October, St Loman’s, Mullingar received a major fillip when it was announced, on Monday afternoon of this week, that dynamic Offaly forward, Ken Casey has transferred to them.

The St Brigids, Croghan clubman is one of the hottest properties in the Offaly set up and is regarded as one of most prolific attackers in the province.

An accountant by profession, Ken has been working in Mullingar for some months and decided to sign up for the Blues as they eye up back-to-back Flanagan Cups.

At time of going to press, neither Club Chairman, Aidan Davitt nor Club Secretary, Rodney Martin were available for comment.
