Ray Connellan starts at midfield for Westmeath in tomorrow's Qualifier against Cavan

Bealin keeps faith with same XV ahead of Cavan clash

Westmeath senior football manager Paul Bealin has made no personnel changes to the side which lost to Louth recently for tomorrow's All-Ireland SFC Qualifier against Cavan in Kingspan Breffni Park.

John Heslin slots into his more familiar full forward role, with Athlone's Ray Connellan starting in midfield.

Veteran Garrycastle forward Dessie Dolan reclaims his iconic no. 15 shirt at top of the left, while Tyrrellspass's Ger Egan has been named at centre half forward.

“It is a tough draw but for me you know, Cavan are a very reputable team and it would be very good to beat them," Bealin told TheScore.ie today.

"Our lads won’t find it difficult to motivate themselves.”

The throw-in for tomorrow's Round 1B Qualifier clash is at 3pm.
