Good display by Under 12s

Ringtown's Under 12 team took on St. Oliver Plunketts, on August 12. Considering that this is a very young team, they all played very well. They have lots more matches to play in the next few weeks, so it is ipoortant that every player keeps coming to training, which takes place on Monday evenings at 7pm. We thank St. Oliver Plunketts for a good, sporting game.Team: Ryan McLoughlin, Bob O'Mara, Conor O'Grady, James Butler, Robert Butler, Jonathan Hurley, Shane McGuigan, Ryan Kiernan, Alex Butler, Frank Tighe, Stephen Smyth, Jason Hannon, Christopher Kiernan, Jamie Glennon, Kevin O Grady.Minors suffer defeatOur Minor hurlers faced Castlepollard in the Championship first round, on Monday, August 10th. Played in Ringtown, this was a game that 'Pollard held the upper hand throughout. While all our players showed touches of good hurling, Castlepollard built up too high a lead for us to overcome. The final score was 1-13 to 1-7. Hopefully, we will have better results in forthcomimg matches, as this is a promising panel. Well done to Castlepollard on a merited victory.Team: Michael Murphy, Paul Smith, Shane Moran, Conor Barrett, Patrick Butler, James Ryder, Aidan Daniels, James Boylan, John Macken, Stephen Sullivan, Michael Connors, Emmet Corrigan, Matthew Hurley.
