Home instead tips for home security

We here at Home Instead are very conscious of Home Safety and have put together “Tips for Home Security” which we hope you will all find helpful.    We have also liaised with An Garda Siochana to assist you to recognise bogus callers to your home.   We hope that you will find both of these helpful, informative and re-assuring.
HISC & Gardaí Bogus Caller Cards :Keeping Seniors Safe In Their Own Homes. Home Instead Senior Care and An Garda Síochána have sponsored 300,000 Bogus Caller Cards that will include the HISC logo and web address. Given the increase in crimes against seniors by bogus callers Home Instead is partnering with the Gardaí  in order to help more seniors feel safe in their own homes.  If a senior feels nervous when an unknown person calls at their door they can pass a card to the caller and they can fill out their details, which they ought to do if genuine.
The cards will be distributed by both the Gardaí and Home Instead Senior Care over the coming months. Please feel free to contact us on 044 93 85260 or your local Garda station.
