Looking for the cu factor
CU Factor is a national Credit Union talent competition. Mullingar Credit Union is delighted to be holding a local stage of the CU Factor Talent Competition again this year.
The CU Factor is open to students between the ages of 12 to 19 years.
The competition is designed to showcase the talents of the youth in Mullingar and its hinterland.
We have some very talented musicians, singers and dancers in our area and CU Factor gives those individuals the opportunity to showcase their talent on the local stage.
The Credit Union would encourage the youth of our area to get involved this year. We are delighted to announce Anthony Doran, former member of the Blizzards, as one of our judges along with the very talented Angela Lynch, Musical Director of Mullingar Arts Centre and Emmet Cahill, an excellent solo performer.
The local stage will take place in Mullingar Arts Centre on Saturday, September 26 at 7.30pm.
There will be a first prize of €300, a second prize of €200 followed by third prize of €100.

The closing date for entries to the local stage of CU Factor is Saturday, September 12 at 5pm.
The top two acts from the local stage will then go forward to a regional Credit Union final in the Town Hall Theatre, Ballinasloe, on Saturday, October 24.
A CU national final will take place on Saturday, November 7 in the Town Hall Theatre, Ballinasloe also.
