Storm Barney conditions update

Road conditions around Mullingar are currently very wet, and the AA is advising motorists to drive with care.

A similar warning is in effect for Longford, Kells and Tullamore.

Yesterday’s testing weather conditions are set largely to continue today.

Met Éireann says it will be windy again today, although not as windy as yesterday.

Rain will clear during the morning and the weather will turn showery for the afternoon.

Southerly winds will change to south-westerly with the clearance, becoming gustier as they do so. Highest temperatures today around 11 or 12.
