Mullingar woman presents Friends of Breastfeeding Awards

Mullingar woman and Friends of Breastfeeding Awards representative, Caroline Byrne, presented the Friends of Breastfeeding Awards to three recipients unable to attend the official ceremony in the Osprey Hotel, Naas on June 24 last.

They included: model Faye Dinsmore, who received the award for Celebrity Breastfeeding Mum of the year 2018; midwife Philomena Canning, Special Recognition Award 2018 for her work in support of the WHO code on Infant Nutrition in Ireland; and journalist and activist Dil Wickremasinghe, Media Feature Award 2018 for her podcast Sparking Change. The informal presentation for these three recipients was in The Merrion Hotel Dublin on Sunday July 29.
