WATCH: Mullingar brother shocks sister with surprise Australian visit

An Australia based Mullingar native got the shock of her life recently when her brother came for a surprise visit to her home.

The video below shows the moment when Bernice Hallinan met her brother David for the first time since she left Ireland in January.

Speaking to the Irish Mirror this week, Bernince said the she “didn't have a clue” that David was making the trip to Oz.

"To say I got a surprise is an understatement, first family member to see in eight months.

"He had it all planned with my boyfriend Alan and good friend Aine Boyhan.

" I came home work and walked into the room and he was sitting there in the dark, I nearly lost my life."
