High excitement promised at St Loman's Oscars night

Expect high kicks, high notes and general high jinks at the St Loman’s GAA club’s forthcoming Oscar’s night, taking place at The Mullingar Park Hotel this Saturday, March 9.

The films to have scenes featured on the night have been named, and this week, the organisers have finally revealed who the judges are to be.

On that list are Sinead Hussey, RTÉ News presenter; correspondent and football aficionado; Tom Dempsey, the well known stage actor and high-flying entrepreneur Dermot Mullen who was in Los Angeles during the recent Oscars season – although he has not divulged if he was on the Oscars guest list.

The participants in the St Loman’s Oscars night will be acting out scenes from: Only Fools and Horses, Mamma Mia, Peaky Blinders, Man About Dog, Love/Hate, The Van and Michael Collins.

There remain just a limited number of tickets available. These can be purchased in Eason’s on Pearse Street and the Sherry FitzGerald Davitt and Davitt offices on Dominick Street, Mullingar and Paula Martin’s Quick Pick.

The tickets are €20 each.
