Shout-out to all tractor owners from Mercy Secondary School, Kilbeggan

The Kilbeggan Mercy Secondary School Parents Association are having their first ever fundraising tractor run, on Sunday April 7, from the site of the new secondary school on the Dublin Road.

All new and vintage tractors welcome to take part, and registration is from 11am, giving everyone a chance to look over the variety of vehicles, makes, models and colours on show.

Every vehicle registered will get a commemorative tractor sticker to display and a bite to eat to keep the crews going.

Starting at 12.30pm, the 20km route from the new secondary school site heads west towards Kilbeggan.

A left turn takes the run on to Harbour Road, passing Kilbeggan’s newly renovated church, following on to the village of Rahugh and then on to Tyrrellspass.

Turning left at Tyrrellspass church, the old Dublin Galway road will provide a straight drive back to Kilbeggan.

On returning for refreshments in the school canteen, there will be a free raffle for all participants.

So hail, rain or shine, come along to the tractor run in Kilbeggan on Sunday April 7.

For more information or to get a registration card contact: Tricia 087 4134467 or Ann 086 1766830.
