As preparations for the Westmeath Bachelor Competition move into the final stages, the organising team are showing a crew from RTÉ Nationwide around Mullingar, filling them in on the background to the event and what else they have planned for the St Patrick's weekend, including the new Green-Fest.

Mary Fanning and Brian Walsh were at Rochforts Superstore on Dominick Street this morning, where they met Tomás Nally, his father, Tom Nally, his wife Niamh and Shane Barkey.

Look out for them around Mullingar today, and don't be afraid to say hello!
