Multy business benefiting from Virgin Media campaign

A cookery school from Multyfarnham is one of three businesses chosen by Virgin Media to benefit from free on-air advertising over the coming week.

Multyfarnham Cookery School, which has recently reopened, is looking forward to welcoming back children and adults in the coming months, and Virgin Media is promoting the enterprise through its #BackingBusiness support fund, which will see it benefit from free advertising, and see it profiled across Virgin Media Channels One, Two and Three.

Now in its tenth week, #BackingBusiness has featured some 160 businesses across its TV network and social media platforms.

The #BackingBusiness initiative is open now to businesses across the country and aims to give them a national platform to showcase their resilience and ingenuity during these challenging times. It will feature as many Irish businesses as possible, and entering is easy.

At Multyfarnham Cookery School, although the classes and summer camps may look slightly different with new safety guidelines in place, the team have worked hard to ensure the fun and learning is still the same.

Kamalika Ranasingha, owner of Multyfarnham Cookery School said: “Being part of Virgin Media’s Backing Business campaign means a lot to us because we want people to realise that cooking can actually be relaxing, whether it is children or adults.

“After what everyone has been through in the last few months, it’s a great way of helping your mental health and also looking after your health eating nutritionally balanced food made at home.”

Multyfarnham Cookery School will be joined by ONExU, an Irish Streetwear brand. Also featuring this week is The Osprey Hotel in Naas. It closed in March but the team were determined to reopen as soon as it was safe to do so.

Each business will feature on Virgin Media’s weekly 60 second ad break campaign, and be promoted across Virgin Media’s official social media channels.
