Met Éireann says it will be dry this morning with early bright spells.

Cloud will increase through the day and there will be some occasional light rain or drizzle.

Highest temperatures are predicted to be between 19 and 21 degrees.

It is expected to turn breezier as the day goes on, with southerly winds freshening.

Tonight

Tonight will be cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain to begin, however rain will turn more persistent and heavy later in the night towards dawn, which may lead to spot flooding. Breezy with fresh southerly winds, strong at times near coasts. Temperatures not falling below 13 to 15 degrees.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow Friday will be wet with further heavy falls of rain. Rain will continue to fall through much of the day, but will ease later. Gradually brightening up in western Leinster in the evening.

Highest temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees with fresh to strong southerly winds persisting for a time near the Irish Sea coast, winds easing to a mainly light northwesterly further inland.
