Monthly Meeting Thursday November 4

For the first time in 16 months, BMB Active host a monthly meeting tomorrow, Thursday November 4, at 11am in Multyfarnham Community Centre. Items of interest to members will be discussed and a guest speaker will demonstrate the art of crafting Christmas floral arrangements. The monthly meeting is a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and hear first hand all about the interesting things happening, so if you are planning on attending please text ‘yes’ meeting to 087 172 3256.

Galway in December

Are you interested in joining BMB Active for bus journey and Hotel overnight to beautiful Galway, during the first week of December? This trip is planned to provide an opportunity for pre-Christmas shopping, and a browse through the Christmas market in Eyre Square, with bed, breakfast, and evening meal inclusive of transport. Live Theatre

Last Thursday, October 28, BMB Active were at the Mullingar Arts Centre for Sister Act. Next February 4, 2022 at 2.30pm in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, BMB Active hopefully, will enjoy the live musical extravaganza The Lion King. Line dancing

Line dancing is on Mondays at 5.45pm in Multyfarnham Community Centre. You can’t beat music and dancing to both improve fitness and bring blissful abandon! A precious hour of line dancing provides you with joy and relaxation with friends, so text ‘line dancing ‘ to 087 172 3256 and come along.

Book Club on last Thursday of month

If you are in the mood to share conversation about your latest good book, fellow readers would be delighted to listen. The monthly Book Club meetings are on Thursdays at noon in Multyfarnham Community Centre. Teas and coffee available but bring a sandwich if it’s your lunch time.

Bishop Thomas Dennihan bestowed the sacrament of Confirmation on 18 past pupils of St Cremin’s School. Condolences

To the Kelly family and friends on the sad passing of Christopher Kelly, formerly of Lacken, most recently residing in Rathowen, Christy left us way too soon. May He Rest in Peace.

Mary Weir is back leading the watercolours and acrylics classes on Wednesday mornings for BMB ACTIVE in Multyfarnham Community Centre.
