Dr Niamh Shaw talk on the basics of climate change
Explaining climate change without jargon is something Dr Niamh Shaw is good at. Dr Shaw is a scientist, an engineer, and an author and she recently curated the Abbeyleix Community Climate Action Project.
Dr Shaw will be familiar to many people from her appearances on ‘The Tommy Tiernan Show’ and ‘The Late Late Show’ on RTÉ, and ‘The Seven O’Clock Show’ on TV3. Now she’s looking to engage with a Westmeath audience.
Dr Shaw is inviting us to join her for two evenings of online discussion where she will be getting back to the basics of what climate change is, exploring how it will affect us, and what we as individuals can do about it.
These events are taking place on Tuesday November 16 and on Tuesday November 23 at 7.30pm, and are free.
