Mullingar Gardaí looking to reunite Eeyore with its owner

Local Gardaí have put a call out on social media to reunite a cuddly toy toy with its owner.

Gardaí posted a message on social media earlier today in a bid to make sure that Eeyore and its presumably young owner aren't separated for too long.

"Eeyore has lost his way while out along the canal. He is sad that he has lost his family but he is being well looked after in Mullingar Station. We would love to reunite him with his loved ones, please contact Community Policing at Mullingar Garda Station."
