Details of Westmeath footballers Leinster Championship semi final have been confirmed.

Jack Cooney's charges will meet Kildare as part of a double-header in Croke Park on Sunday, May 15.

Throw in is at 2.15pm and the game is followed by the other semi final between Dublin and Meath (4.30pm).

Both games must finish on the day.

Westmeath enjoyed an eight-point victory over Longford in the quarter final at the weekend, thus earning a degree of revenge for a league defeat to the same opposition earlier in the season.
