Helen Hassett 'thrilled to be back on stage'

Soprano Helen Hassett has told the Westmeath Examiner she “is thrilled to be back on stage” this coming weekend.

Helen’s concerts are on Saturday and Sunday June 18 and 19 at 8pm in The Atrium at the County buildings .

The programme consists of songs from the stage and screen by the classic composers Rogers and Hammerstein, Sammy Fain, Cole Porter, Leonard Berstein to the more contemporary Stephen Flaherty and Scott Frankel.

An intimate concert, it promises to be an evening of sublime music in the perfect acoustic surroundings of the Atrium.

Helen will be accompanied by pianist Greg Peters and percussionist Paddy Hassett.

She says she is excited to perform again after a long spell of lock down and appreciates the support of the Westmeath County Council.

Tickets will not be available at the door so booking is necessary – get your tickets by calling or texting 0866061549.
