Mullingar Rotary Club golf fundraiser back for 2022

After a two-year gap, Mullingar Rotary Club were delighted to be able hold their annual golf fundraiser at Mullingar Golf Club on the bank holiday Saturday (June 4).

On what was a lovely summer day, the course was in pristine condition and that enabled some excellent golf to be played.

The winner on the day was Paul Kellet; in second place was Patrick Hand; and in third Jim McCartan.

The presentation of prizes took place in Mullingar Golf Club on Tuesday June 7. Rotary vice-president, Pat Webb, who presented the prizes, thanked the golf club for the use of the course and all the support they provided to make this year’s event a success.

He acknowledged the generous sponsorship provided by businesses from Mullingar and further afield.

Fundraising events such as the golf one enable Mullingar Rotary Club to make a valuable contribution to local and international charities.

Tom Daly, Oliver Fay, and Jimmy McDonnell of Mullingar Rotary Club were also in attendance at the presentation night.
