Bus Éireann sponsors Mullingar Pride 2022
Bus Éireann has announced its sponsorship of Mullingar’s first ever Pride Festival - which kicks off tomorrow and continues with activities through the week.
A Bus Éireann representative said the company is proud to be sponsoring the event and wished all Bus Éireann customers in Mullingar and all of those celebrating a happy Mullingar Pride 2022.
The official Pride festivities begin tomorrow July 12 and continue on Thursday July 14, but the official celebration concert and parade takes place on Saturday, July 16.
The parade will start at noon from Blackhall car park and march through Dominic Street.
This Saturday's 'Werk! fest' takes place at Belvedere House and Gardens and is expected to draw a large crowd.
The event will be hosted by Eastenders star Cheryl Fergison and will be headlined by Ru Paul’s Drag Race stars including Tempest Dujour and Domino.
The ‘Queen Stories’ event is scheduled for Thursday July 14 at the Greville Arms Hotel at 8pm.
This is a theatre evening with a series of poetry and monologues written and performed by local artists.
