Mullingar family determined to raise more funds for IMNDA

Clodagh McKeon

A Mullingar family are determined to raise more money for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association as they host a fundraising night in Kerrigan's Bar next Friday evening July 22.

Last month, they raised over €22,000 after completing the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon in aid of the charity.

Along with the support and generosity of locals and extended family, the Dunne household are pushing to raise even more money after their Father was diagnosed with the disease recently.

They hope to add to an already sizeable amount of money with a fundraising night that is taking place on Friday July 22 at Kerrigan's Bar on Harbour St Mullingar.

The event kicks off from 5pm until 8pm.

Tickets are €10 and include a BBQ burger at the event.

They are available to purchase in Kerrigan's Bar and Joe Tynan's Family butchers.

There will be a large raffle on the night too with great prizes including afternoon tea in the Bloomfield House Hotel, three-month gym membership at Bloomfield House Hotel, an E-Scooter, artwork, a variety of vouchers and more.

All the money raised on the night will go straight to the IMNDA so all are welcome and the support is greatly appreciated.
