The car park at the train station in Mullingar will be closed during the fleadh, and the bus stop there will not be in use.

Change to Bus Éireann services during Fleadh Cheoil

Bus Éireann are advising customers hoping to attend the opening festivities of the Fleadh Cheoil this weekend that Expressway Route 22 and Route 23 and PSO Route 115 services will be operating to regularly scheduled timetables, but some stops in Mullingar cannot be serviced due to diversions.

Route 115 services operate every hour from Dublin to Mullingar. The first service departs Dublin at 6.30am and the final return from Mullingar is at 11.30pm.

Route 22 services provide two departures from Dublin to Mullingar on Sunday morning and Route 23 services provide four departures from Dublin to Mullingar across the day.

From Sunday, July 31, to Sunday August 7, for the duration of the fleadh, bus stops at Mullingar hospital and Mullingar railway station cannot be serviced due to diversions.

All services (with exception of Route 70) will operate from a temporary bus stop on the Delvin Road opposite the QuickPick store for the duration of festivities.

From 20:00 tomorrow, Friday July 29, all 115 services will commence from Austin Friars Street.

Bus Éireann advise intending customers to plan their journeys in advance by visiting the Bus Éireann website www.buseireann.ie and to stay tuned to the website and Bus Éireann’s social media channels for updates.
