Last night's heavy rain didn't dampen the spirits or affect the performances of the young members of the Feely Bates Academy of Irish Dance when they took to the stage of Gig Rig 1.

Grainne Feely, 10 times world champion, has been teaching in Mullingar for over 20 years. and Dearbhail Bates was the first ever Riverdance captain.

The school has had many champion dancers over the years including World, National and Leinster champions and the current U7 British National Champion and runner up in the North American Irish Dance Championships 2022.
