Launch day for Loughnavalley GAA Pitch and Walking Track

Loughnavalley GAA will host a Pitch Development Day this Sunday September 4 between 1 and 4pm.

The community will be celebrating the successful funding application for the pitch development, and turning the sod on the new walking track at the facility.

Organisers say there will be lots of family fun throughout the day, including a quirky walking football match!

A Leitrim club has been invited to play against Loughnavalley in a walking football match designed for older men, something a little different and guaranteed to be lots of fun.

The Tailteann Cup will e on display on the day, while the new AED Unit at the facility will also be unveiled.

There will be lots of fun for all the family including welly throwing, walking football match, inflatable games, fun races and pony rides!

"It's a way to celebrate the progression of the club as well as the community growing tighter together," says Carol Keenan of Loughnavalley GAA.
