Multyfarnham success in Scottish Open pickleball tournament

BMB Active notes

Ballinafid Multyfarnham Bunbrosna Active salute the triumphant pickleball players who represented their club in Glasgow in the Scottish International Open, on August 25-28.

Colin Sheridan secured a silver medal and was among the nine pickleball players who traveled to Glasgow last week for the event.

Sheila Scally and Howard and Patrice Ascanio secured places in the quarter finals.

Congratulations also to Peter Sheridan, Tom and Rose O’Reilly, and Joan McKoen, as well as Cassandra Mooney for performances that enthralled many international pickleball enthusiasts.

Derravaragh social evening

Come along, one and all, to the Lakeside Cafe on Lough Derravaragh this Wednesday, September 7, 7pm for a meal with friends and to sit back and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, sunset, music and banter.
