Clonmellon Tidy Towns hard at work improving their village

Clonmellon Tidy Towns are planning to more work in the village and surrounding areas. They have started by planting plum trees, cherry trees and some apple trees along with some native Irish trees and some hedging.

They also plan to plant a border of box hedging around the green area near the Kells road; there is a wheelchair picnic bench in the green space and Tidy Towns volunteers will be building a thatched roof over it in the next couple of months.

Clonmellon Tidy Towns volunteers plan to put a thatch roof over this bench, which is wheelchair accessible.
