Sugar Plum Sweetery is a magical curation of Pick ‘n’ Mix sweets and fresh chocolate, with an array of beautifully presented gifting options for adults and kids alike. Sugar Plum is an online business with its shop and chocolate factory located in Mullingar.
Entrepreneurial Mullingar woman Denise identified that there was a niche in the market for a unique online gifting brand and an experience driven store.
"It has always been my dream to set up a business that focuses on helping customers find the perfect gift, whether it’s close family or friends, chocolate and sweets has such a broad appeal," said Denise.
"It’s handmade by us, local and unique. We love making delicious chocolate gifts in our chocolate factory, like our hand painted handbags, bash cakes and caramel frogs."
Having spent the earlier part of her career with luxury brands such as Brown Thomas and Kildare Village, Denise set up Wholesome Kitchen with her husband David in Mullingar three years ago, and her focus now is to develop Sugar Plum Sweetery into a national and international brand.
