Women’s Community Projects to host coffee morning for LARCC

Students at the Women’s Community Project in Bishopsgate Street, Mullingar are hosting a charity coffee morning in aid of LARCC, on Thursday March 16 (10.30am-noon) in the Parish Community Centre.

The Personal Effectiveness class is funded by the Longford Westmeath Education and Training Board, and the learners are studying for QQI level 3. Part of that programme is to complete a community goal and team work.

The students elected to host a coffee morning and voted to chose LARCC as the charity to benefit, as they felt that everyone’s life is touched by cancer in some way.

They have organised everything as a group, and as the learners are from several different countries, they have decided to make goodies from those places as well as a Irish favourites.

There will be a raffle on the morning too.
