Lorraine hands over head shave funds to LARCC

The brave Lorraine Murphy had her hair shaved to raise funds for Cancer Support Sanctuary LARCC on April 1 last, and she has now handed over the money.

Lorraine wants thank everyone who helped make her fundraiser such a success – the generous people who donated, and gave prizes for the raffle; Conor and Suzanne Murtagh of Murtagh’s in Multyfarnham, for hosting the event and supplying refreshments, and “the wonderful band who entertained so brilliantly for hours”.

She gave a special mention of thanks to Bridget Maxwell for shaving her hair and to “the wonderful gang of ticket sellers”.

To everyone who supported the night and made such a successful fun night, Lorraine says a sincere thank you, it meant a lot to her to be able to donate the funds raised to LARCC.
