Mullingar Pride team make final preparations for Werk! Fest

The Mullingar Pride team have held their final in-person fundraising event for the year this past weekend and are making final preparations for Werk! Fest on Saturday July 8.

The fundraiser drew another sold out crowd to Daly’s Bar for the popular Drag Brunch.

Fundraising is ongoing through the Pride committee’s Monster Raffle for which the prizes include cash, a rainbow kayak, The Phoenix Retreat Loft stay for two, Ryanair vouchers and more. Tickets can be purchased directly from committee members or by emailing info@mullingarpride.ie.

The winner will be announced on Mullingar Pride social media channels on July 1.

Final plans for Werk! Fest are coming together and the line-up has been announced. Drag Race UK star Baga Chipz will headline the event, and will be joined by a variety of Irish talent, including The Domino Show, DJ Levino and other Queens and entertainment.

Werk! Fest will be held in Blackhall on July 8 following a parade at 2pm, on Mount Street and Dominick Street. There will be a family friendly event at 3-5pm with music, face painting and costume characters to entertain the kids. The main event is at 6pm.
