Streete Vintage Show launch event

The Streete Vintage Show committee launched this year’s show at the Crossroads Inn, Lisryan. A number of vintage vehicle enthusiasts and supporters of the annual show attended and enjoyed a great evening in glorious sunshine.

The vintage and classic cars and tractors there gave a flavour of what visitors can expect on Sunday next, June 25, and the guests enjoyed barbecue food and were entertained by Ray Dolan.

New attractions this year include a jiving competition hosted by country music star Johnny Brady, and an up-and-coming star of country music, Bríd Shaughnessy, and many more.

The committee would like to thank all who helped and supported the launch, and have a special word of thanks to Pauline and Gerry of Murphy’s Crossroads Inn, Lisryan. Powell Meats, Ardagh, for donating the burgers, and Declan and Willie, who did the cooking.

Committee members have attended a number of other shows around the country, inviting stall holders and exhibitors to Streete, to help make their day the best it can be.

As usual, offers of help before and after the show are appreciated – contact James at 086 312 5876 or Kevin at 087 1375 222.
