New affordable housing scheme in Westmeath open to applications

Westmeath County Council have announced that an online portal to accept applications for a new Affordable Purchase Scheme in Gort an Locha, Moate, is now live.

The scheme opened today, Wednesday July 26, and will remain open for three weeks until midnight, Wednesday August 16.

A total of 22 new affordable homes, consisting of 3 and 4 bedroom dwellings, are being made available for sale by the council in the residential development in accordance with the Affordable Housing legislation.

The properties are open to people who are First Time Buyers or qualify under the ‘Fresh Start Principle’. Applications will be assessed in line with the Westmeath County Council Scheme of Priority.
