Westmeath chocolatier shortlisted for prestigious national award

A product made by a Mullingar chocolatier has been selected as a finalist in this year's Irish Quality Food and Drinks Awards.

Sugar Plum Sweetery's handmade Florentine chocolate slab has been shortlisted for an award alongside products from some of Ireland's best known confectioners such as Lir Chocolates and Lilly O'Brien's.

Sugar Plum Sweetery announced the news on their social media accounts.
