Mullingar woman lands role with Cúla4

A young Mullingar woman has landed a role with the new Irish language television channel for children, Cúla4.

Clíodhna Nic Gafraidh has been appointed the social media coordinator with Cúla4, which was launched earlier this month.

Clíodhna attended Gaelscoil an Mhuilinn and Loreto College. She spent four years studying at Trinity College Dublin, where she developed a keen interest in Irish language through Cumann Gaelach TCD and the Irish Language Residency Scheme (An Scéim Cónaithe).

She was the vice-auditor for An Cumann Gaelach and head mentor for the Scéim Cónaithe in her final year at college.

Clíodhna has experience working with young people. Before starting with Cúla4, she worked as a second level coordinator with Conradh na Gaeilge. She also spent many years working as a cinnire, ard-chinnire and cúntóir with Coláiste Spleodar in Conamara.

Clíodhna loves working with young people and says it is a privilege for her to work with Cúla4.
