Are you brave enough?! Ghost tours of old Mullingar at Halloween

Tour guide and historian Ruth Illingworth is conducting ghost tours of old Mullingar over the bank holiday weekend, and she asks who is brave enough to join her!

"Mullingar is an old town and contains many haunted buildings and stories of ghosts, banshees and other creatures from the Otherworld," says Ruth.

"Come along and hear the story of the face at the window, the ghost of Bobby Bawn, the banshee of the Green Road and the phantom army.

"And walk, if you dare, over the haunted bridge!"

For further information phone 087 9472583 or email ruthillingworthmullingar@gmail.com.

The tours are on Sunday October 29, and Monday October 30, at 7pm, from the Market Square; the fee is €5 for adults and children go free.
