Fundraising concert in Castletown Church this Friday evening

Creative North Westmeath Variety Group is hosting a concert this Friday night (November 10) in Castletown Church to raise funds for the building's restoration.

A number of local musicians and groups will be performing on the night, including Clan Lir CCE, the Finnegans, Castlepollard Folk/Church Choir and Melissa Cooke. Also performing on the night are Matty Rooney, Cliff Edward, Hubert and Catherine Rooney, Shamus Heaney and Chris Maloney.

Admission is €10, €5 for seniors and children are free. The concert gets underway at 8pm and there will be a raffle on the night.

All funds raised will go to the Castletown Church Restoration Fund.
