The Rochfortbridge Social Services Christmas party took place on Thursday 23 November in the Parish Hall and everyone had a great night.
The party couldn’t be held without the grants received from Westmeath County Council and North Midlands Credit Union.
On the night, there were numerous prizes sponsored by local businesses: Lorraine Healy Donnelly, Jacko Healy, Peter Newman, Rochfortbridge Pharmacy, Lysters, Spar, Mark Wright, Tyrrellspass, Gildeas Pharmacy, Kinnegad and O’Reilly’s Restaurant.
The organisers offered their thanks to Fr William for the lovely Mass and Mary McCauley, the sacristan. They also wish to thank Cathy Gavin Whelehan and the lads on the CE scheme for their assistance and hard work.
The Castle in Tyrrellspass supplied the food on the night, and it was “fantastic, as always”.
Many thanks to Luca Lyster for his lovely Christmas decorations, thanks to the Social Services Committee, without whose hard work, there would be no party.
