U11 side impress in Birr against strong opposition

Mother's Day morning started cold and wet for the Mullingar U11 boys in Birr, but the pitches held up well, setting the stage for some of the season's most thrilling rugby. Despite the inclement weather and a notable absence of players due to Mother's Day commitments, two teams from the squad of 55 travelled to compete. Facing strong opposition from Roscrea, Edenderry, Birr, and the West Offaly Lions, Mullingar's teams showcased exceptional skills. Their ability to pass the ball out of contact and exert pressure during breakdowns were standout aspects of their play. A special thanks is extended to coaches Barry, Roger, Joe, Tony, Criosteoir, and Darragh, whose dedication to enhancing these young players' skills is evidently bearing fruit.
