Trip to United States

Mullingar Town Band recently announced a trip to the United States of America to celebrate that country’s 250th anniversary of independence. To make the dream possible, MTB have launched a major fundraising campaign, and Tom Allen of North Midlands Credit Union was in attendance at the concert to present €25,000 to the band to cover the cost of a new uniform.

It is worth noting that the credit union also funded the purchase of the current marching band uniform some 20 years ago.

Kim Magee, band director, accepted the cheque on behalf of the band.

Mullingar Town Band would like to wish Tom Allen every success in his retirement and to thank him for his support over the years.
