Lowry holes fourth ace of professional career
Shane Lowry holed ace number four of his professional career during his final round of the Houston Open on Sunday afternoon.
The Clara golfer's hole-in-one arrived on the 170 yard second hole of his Sunday round when his tee shot bounced on the green before dropping into the hole.
Lowry's previous 'aces' were scored at the 16th hole in Augusta during the US Masters in 2016. He then aced the 17th hole in Sawgrass at the Player's Championship in 2022 before complwting his hat-trick at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am last year, where he aced the iconic seventh hole.
Despite the 'ace', Lowry was unable to challenge for Houston Open honours, ending the tournament on seven under par, fourteen strokes behind winner Gary Woodland.
