Loughlin nominated for GAA.ie 'Footballer of the Week'
Westmeath senior footballer Luke Loughlin has been nominated for the GAA.ie 'Footballer of the Week'.
The Lake County talisman contributed 2-2 of his county's 5-25 scoring tally as Westmeath advance to the Leinster SFC quarter-final with victory over Longford in Pearse Park on Sunday.
Renowned for his scoring prowess, Loughlin will hope to bring his fine form into the county's provincial quarter-final clash against Meath in Glenisk O'Connor Park Tullamore on Sunday at 2pm.

Voting will close at 10am on Tuesday, April 14, and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.
Loughlin's fellow nominees for the 'Footballer of the Week' accolade are Barry McNulty of Leitrim and Laois footballer Evan O'Carroll.
