Mullingar Handball Club plans approved

Mullingar Handball Club is set to undergo a significant redevelopment following a planning approval by Westmeath County Council.

The club, who have facilitated 70 years of handball in Mullingar, will continue to grow thanks to the planning permission for the work at Springfield.

The approval is for an extension that will include a sensory room, physio room, female changing room, referee room, storage room, and a canopy. Permission also covers all ancillary site works, and all works above and below ground to accommodate the development.

They currently have two handball courts, one 60x30 and one 40x20. This permission was granted subject to five conditions.
