Soroptimists win overall prize at 2026 Cathaoirleach Awards

Soroptimist Mullingar and District received the Overall Persons/Group of the Year prize at the 2026 Cathaoirleach Awards on Friday evening at Belvedere.

The awards recognise the contributions of individuals and groups who through dedication and voluntary efforts enrich communities across Westmeath.

In social media post, the local Soroptimists said: “As we celebrate, we thank every woman who has been a member of our club over the last 35 years, the many businesses who always support our work and the many voluntary organisations we have worked with in improving the lives of women and girls.”
