Trial 4

Sean Waters was the winner of the fourth WCD trial this season, overcoming Damien Kelly 3-2 in the final which was held in Bartley's Bar, Drumcree last Friday night. Sean was in top form all night with 11 legs under the 21 dart mark which meant that six of his seven games were won with an average of 70+.

There were 37 players entered on the night, with a setup of seven groups to help whittle matters down the Last 16. Wayne Kelly, Chris Cole and Garry Lynch will be happy to have gone through their respective boards to get their name on the ranking table early in the season.

Alan McManus and Padraig White reached their first quarter final, while Simon Heffernan marked his seasonable debut with a run to the semi finals, joined by Ross Kelly at that stage.

50/50 Draw and Weekly Bonus Ball

Congratulations to Hagi for getting the golden ticket on the night winning the 50/50 draw which Treasurer Ray Enright presented the winnings, while the weekly Bonus Ball saw Alan McManus' number come out on Saturday night.

Trial 5

Friday, July 31 - Bartley's Bar, Drumcree: Darts continues for all players this Friday night as the WCD system returns to The Beech Tree Streamstown to host the next trial of twelve. Players can register for the event by searching for 'Westmeath' on tv.dartconnect.com/events/dartconnect, or can find the direct link on the 'Westmeath County Darts' Facebook page.

ADC Vault 18 Updates

Night 5 of ADC Vault 18 in the Western Gem saw Wayne Kelly overcome Brady Gaffey in the final 3-2. Wayne saw off the Gilchrist brothers Oisin and Cian to make the final while Brady took out Keith Donlon and David Egan to take his place in the decider.

Darts continues in Ballinalack this Tuesday night again and players can search 'ADC Western Gem' if they wish to enter. The Esker Inn in Tyrrellspass has also come on board the ADC System as a new venue for Vault 18 on Wednesday nights and players can search for that pub in the same manner.
