Sam and Mayo stars 'to make stage appearance at Electric Picnic with Saw Doctors'

Speculation is rife that a number of members of the All-Ireland title winning Mayo senior football squad, along with the Sam Maguire, will appear on stage at the Electric Picnic Festival at Stradbally this weekend.

According to showbiz expert Shauna O'Reilly of Todayfm, it is strongly rumoured they will appear during the performance of the one-hour set on the main stage by The Saw Doctors on Sunday at 5.30pm.

"It is more that a rumour at this stage," she told the Claire Byrne Show on NewsTalk.
