Wildlife photo exhibition is part of Biodiversity Week events
Mullingar Library hosts a Wildlife Photography Exhibition by local photographer John McCauley, on May 16-26 during regular library opening hours.
John is well known for his photography, and for his volunteer work in Africa, with Tanzanian Heavenly Homes.
The exhibition is being held as part of National Biodiversity Week, and the photos are chosen to give a detailed insight into own local wildlife, much of which may not be regularly seen.
“I’ll have a selection of different photos, so I would just love for local people to come down and have a look at them, and I would love the local schools to come down and show all the children the photos,” said John.
John has had exhibitions of his work in the past, and a similar one held in Mullingar Library in 2023, where Birdwatch Ireland praised John’s work with nature photography.
