Leinster GAA announce complimentary ticket initiative

Leinster GAA and Croke Park have announced up to 20,000 complimentary tickets for underage teams.

This initiative aims to support and celebrate the next generation of GAA players, with the free tickets being for the Leinster and Joe McDonagh Cup Finals.

Leinster GAA has an ongoing commitment to youth participation and community engagement, allowing younger players to experience the atmosphere of a Hurling Championship match day.

Interested teams, must consist of a minimum of 10 children, which should be U14 or younger and need to be accompanied by at least two supervising adults.

All GAA teams interested are encouraged to apply early to avoid disappointment, with this initiative expected to generate significant interest.

Applications are to be submitted by the Club Secretaries no later than noon on Wednesday, June 4.

Cathaoirleach Comhairle Laighean Derek Kent said: “This is a celebration of our young players and an investment in the future of our games.

“We want every child involved in GAA to feel connected to the bigger picture to see our players in action, feel the energy of championship days, and be inspired by their Hurling heroes.

“By offering 20,000 free tickets to our players, we’re not only giving them a great day out — we’re showing them they belong to something special.”
